A charity is looking for business sponsorship at its first ball to help raise funds to support young people deal with difficult emotions and life challenges.

HorseHeard, which uses the powerful connection of horses to help support people manage emotions, overcome challenges in their life and improve confidence, will be holding the ball on Saturday, July 8, at The Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors, Lancashire between 7pm and 1am.

Heather Hardy, chief executive of the charity, said: "We are so excited to hold our first ball to raise vital funds to support the amazing work at HorseHeard that will help our future generation unlock their potential and become more confident and resilient through powerful connection with horses. We would be delighted to get support from businesses in Lancashire and Cumbria to help make the event a night to remember and to make a big difference to hundreds of young lives."

Business sponsorship for the event has already been secured with Windoworld but more is needed as the charity is aiming to raise £5,000 to support around 500 young people. Sponsorship is £200, which includes two tickets and promotion of the business, before, during and after the event. Further tickets are priced at £50 per person, and will include a welcome drink, three course meal and live entertainment from Brothers of Swing.
