"This years Great Manchester Run gave us the perfect opportunity to support the incredible and vital work that Francis House does for children and young adults with life-limiting illnesses. "

Kennedy Wilson Europe Real Estate Plc (LSE: KWE) an LSE listed property company that invests in real estate across the UK, Ireland, Spain and Italy – owner and manager of the Towers Business Park – took part in the Great Manchester Run on 28th May.

The team from Towers Business Park in Didsbury pulled on their trainers and completed the course to raise money for hospice, Francis House. The Towers 10k run club has raised over £2100 with the running total increasing daily as donations race in to support the team and Francis House.

It is an important charity for all the runners, especially for Martin Burnett, Director at Finlay James Associates, based within Towers, as his niece is a regular visitor to the hospice.

In preparation for the run, the team set up a running club to train for the event and staff have been participating in training, dietary and exercise programmes to prepare. The club has been so popular that there are plans to continue the sessions on a regular basis, led by personal trainer Simon Matejczuk.T

Matthew Milroy, at Kennedy Wilson Europe (KWE), said:

“Our health and wellbeing programme for tenants brings the community of Towers together and the response has been fantastic. We are delighted that the runners will be continuing with the fitness programme which DS.Emotion have helped us implement.’

“We are currently planning our next series of activities at Towers and look forward to announcing them soon.’’

Towers Business Park was acquired by Kennedy Wilson Europe, an LSE listed property company that invests in real estate across the UK, Ireland, Spain and Italy in 2016. The offices are let to 24 corporate business occupiers, which includes John Lewis, British Airways, Honeywell, Oracle, Syngenta and Cisco, and has an occupancy of 98%.
