The Warrington based firm, headed by Managing Director Lee Birchall, has carried out a series of creative renovations on the group’s eighth venture, Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria, located on Princess Street, Knutsford.
Paying homage to the Big Apple, the design mirrors the aesthetics and laid-back vibe of a traditional New York bar with food, and incorporates contemporary elements to offer a refreshing twist to Cheshire’s bar scene.
Managing Director of DV8 Designs Lee Birchall said: “It is certainly rewarding to have been invited by New Moon Company once again to oversee and implement the design of its newest Cheshire venture, Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria. We certainly feel like a part of the family due to our continued work together to create unique and exciting venues.
“In order to combine New Moon Company’s signature contemporary look with an American twist, we have drawn inspiration from New York, taking into consideration the edgy style of the urban Bronx feel. Our aim was to create an intimate but vibrant destination that is starkly contrasted by industrial style furnishings and a ‘down and gritty’ aesthetic. Ultimately, we hope that Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria becomes the go-to venue in Knutsford.”
DV8 Designs is an architectural and interior design firm renowned for its innovative commercial and residential projects. The firm has most recently been named as a finalist in two categories in this year’s Northern Design Awards, with one nomination for its work on New Moon Company’s The Old Blind School in Liverpool.
Earlier this year, DV8 Designs was shortlisted in the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards 2015 as a result of its creative involvement in another New Moon Company project, Beef and Pudding. Mockingbird Taproom was also recognised in the ‘Most Stylish Dining Experience’ category in the Hilden Style Awards 2015.
