Specialist lender Together is celebrating after winning not one, but three, awards at the British Specialist Lending Awards 2017, a ceremony which recognises the stand out achievements of the most deserving individuals in the specialist sector of the UK mortgage industry.
Together’s commercial CEO, Marc Goldberg, who has worked at the company for over 27 years, took home two awards; for best business leader in commercial finance and best business leader at a bridging lender, whilst head of underwriting, Tracey Bailey, won best underwriter.
Marc Goldberg, commenting on his double win, said: “I’m honoured to have won these awards, in recognition of my commitment to both the bridging finance and commercial finance sectors. I’ve been in the specialist lending industry for over a quarter of a century and I’ve witnessed huge changes over the years.
“I’m proud to be part of that, but this award is testament not just to my own dedication, but also to that of all my team at Together, who continually strive to deliver the best outcomes for our customers, working closely with our network of brokers. A huge thanks to all who voted for me - it really is very much appreciated.”
Tracey Bailey added: “It’s a real privilege to have been recognised by the industry with this award win. I’ve been in underwriting, with Together, for nearly 20 years, and have seen both the business and the specialist lending sector evolve in that time. I’m proud to take this home to the business and to my team, who have all helped make this possible with their continued support.”
Together prides itself on its common sense approach to lending and has a current loan book in excess of £2 billion, with total new lending for 2016 at just under £1.1 billion.
