Head Injured People (HIP) in Cheshire hosted the lunch, supported by North West law firm Birchall Blackburn Law, at Oddfellows in the town in October.
Attended by the Deputy Lord Mayor of Chester, Councillor Razia Daniels and ladies from local businesses and organisations, the event also aimed to raise awareness of brain injury and the hidden impact.
HIP aims to help and support head injury survivors, their family, friends and carers. Its goal is to reduce loneliness and isolation and improve quality of life.
The money raised at the luncheon will enable the charity to fund more services for brain injury victims.
Clare Emerton, charity fundraiser and coordinator for HIP in Cheshire, said: “Our ladies’ lunch was a fantastic event and enjoyed by all. It is very important for us to hold events like this to help us raise awareness of brain injury and the hidden impact it has on lives as well as raising much need funds for the charity.

The lunch, which organisers hope will become an annual event, also included a presentation from jewellers, Boodles of Chester.
