Former Manchester Evening News colleagues Jill Burdett and Dan Gledhill have launched a new PR agency in Manchester.

Law Of The Few PR is based at 49 King Street in the city centre and will specialise in property, professional services and place making.

The founders were behind the hugely successful MEN ‘HOMES’ property supplement between 2000 and 2007.

Since leaving the MEN, ex-news editor Burdett has run a successful media consultancy and Gledhill, who was head of business and property at the MEN, was most recently a board director at Altrincham-based RMS PR, following three years at national specialist property advertising and PR agency Aylesworth Fleming.

Dan Gledhill, joint managing director of Law Of The Few, said:

“Our agency is built around personal connectivity; using our own extensive contacts and experience of PR and marketing in the property and professionals sectors to bring people together.

“We will be working with developers, architects, contractors, law firms, funders, regeneration companies and related professionals in the private and public sectors looking to expand their networks, raise their profiles and generate new business.

“The agency has the perfect blend of communication and marketing skills to inform and persuade audiences across the property and professionals spectrum. We have filled a void in the Manchester PR market.”

Services provided by Law Of The Few include media relations, public consultation, content creation, copywriting, creative, design, marketing strategy and business development.

Jill Burdett, joint managing director of Law Of The Few, said: “We believe we have unrivalled contacts and a clear understanding of the property landscape across the north west.

“This is not about posturing PR, we will make a real difference to our clients’ business success.”

Recent new client wins include Preston-based Kingswood Homes which is working with Wayne Hemingway’s HemingwayDesign to deliver a new housing development in Blackburn and national property finance and investment group Craigleith.
