de Poel has appointed Andrew Preston as Group Managing Director, with responsibility for the strategic development and operations of the entire de Poel Group.

The announcement highlights the leading temporary labour procurer’s significant investment in senior management and commitment to expansion, in support of their positioning as one of the recognised trailblazers in the market.

First joining the de Poel Group in 2013 to head up de Poel’s route to market in the NHS and healthcare sector, Andrew subsequently assumed MD responsibility for their newly formed education business and business development across the group. Andrew’s extensive performance history across FTSE 100, PLCs, Private Equity backed, private and public sector organisations signals de Poel’s intent to continue to innovate their service offering.

With over 20 years’ experience, Andrew’s background includes growing and developing various health businesses and undertaking and delivering the successful integration of numerous merger and acquisition projects, including the sale of his own clinical service business to global service provider Serco Group Plc.

Andrew comments: “I am very much looking forward to driving the de Poel Group forward into 2016, as an agile business with a clear market proposition to clients.

“With an established reputation of 14 years, de Poel was the original frontrunner in the temporary recruitment market to offer a truly vendor neutral solution. My focus now is to continue to grow our leading position to ensure we remain on top for years to come.”
