Simon Peters has thrown himself back into the fashion industry with the launch of his new Bolton-based Menswear label Simon and Simon.

Simon who previously owned street wear brand Henleys wanted to go back to his roots as a shirt maker redefining mens essentials. A soft launch began with the launch of the website www.simonandsimononline.com in late 2012 and has been quickly followed with the brand being stocked in 8 stores around the UK.

Simon is renowned in the fashion industry with a wealth of knowledge and experience in launching menswear labels. A bonefide and well respected fashion designer, Simon has retail giants waiting in anticipation of his new venture.

The classic fitted white shirt is the brand’s signature piece in the collection, made from a mix of cotton and lycra, which enhances the shape of the athletic male torso. The shirts are designed with a range of different collars for different occasions; from the classic point, classic spread, penny, multi cutaway, chiselled and three button collars.

The new collection now showcases a range of men’s accessories with an eclectic range of knitted silk ties, bow ties, polka dot and paisley cravats, lamb’s wool and silk scarves, leather strap braces and the essential handkerchief collection.

Simon wanted to create a style for men at work and play. Simon and Simon is a capsule wardrobe ensemble for men to carry their look from day to night effortlessly.

Simon Peters says,

‘It is difficult to find a structured, well fitted, mens white shirt on the high street unless it’s bespoke and that is why I have initially focused on this piece.  In addition to this we wanted to compliment the classic white shirt a range of luxury accessories made with leather, silks and lamb wool fabrics to make a statement and create the complete Simon and Simon look.’
