After a successful 1st year, we are looking forward to showcasing and celebrating the amazing work being carried out in the North West. 2017 awards saw over 380 charity leaders in one room. The knowledge shared and connections made at our awards ceremony were simply amazing!
The North West Charity Awards is the only event in the region truly dedicated to celebrating the great work done in our third sector.
We celebrate the people who make these charities amazing: volunteers, trustees and ambassadors. The North West Charity Awards is the perfect platform to let your team feel appreciated.
This year we have introduced 3 new categories:
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Fundraising Team of the Year
- Volunteer Team of the Year.
Local charities, nonprofit and community interest groups with roots in the region or bases in Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside or Lancashire are encouraged to enter free of charge. The deadline for entries is Friday 16th June.

‘‘It’s a great shame that the most widely recognised and prestigious charity award ceremonies take place in London – we want to change this perception and raise awareness of the work happening within the 1,500 charities across the five counties that make up the North West, so we are encouraging them to enter before the 16th June deadline for a chance to win.

Applicants can enter up to five awards if applicable. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts within the charity sector.
The awards ceremony will take place at Principal Manchester on Friday 12th October and will consist of a welcome drinks reception, a formal three-course dinner and the awards presentation.
