Maxweb supports local charities with complimentary website schemes

Maxweb has launched an altruistic initiative whereby the digital agency will be offering all charities complimentary website administration services to help with ongoing fundraising efforts

Maxweb supports local charities with complimentary website schemes

"Working with charities has always been on our agenda at Maxweb and so offering free services was a natural decision for us "
Director of Maxweb Liam Bailey

As part of the new offering, the Wirral based firm recently provided technical support to The Open Door Centre in Liscard, with the team assisting with online aspects including website hosting, domain registration and email management to name a few.

The collaboration with the local charity has marked the start of many, with Maxweb looking to extend its offer to a number of regional charities in the coming months.

Director of Maxweb Liam Bailey said: “Working with charities has always been on our agenda at Maxweb and so offering free services was a natural decision for us as it allows us to support the local community whilst doing what we do best – offering a technical package to help manage their online presence. This is an initiative that we are keen to grow, and we hope that over the coming months, we will have the opportunity to provide similar support for other local and even national charities.”

Director of The Open Door Centre Lee Pennington added: “I immediately saw the benefits of working with Maxweb and the fact that their service was free was a huge bonus, particularly as a charity – every penny really counts and allows us to budget more effectively, alleviating the stresses that website management can present. After previously having issues with our tech support, it has been refreshing to have the expert advice of the team on hand and we have already noticed the benefits of the service just a few weeks in.”

Since Maxweb was established in 2006, the company has delivered tailor-made packages with customer experience in mind, having worked on a range of campaigns for an impressive portfolio of clients including Unison (the trade union), Halewood Wines & Spirits (Crabbies & Lambrini) and Nike.

Director of Maxweb Mark Ainsworth said: “It has been fantastic to work so closely with The Open Door Centre and has given all of us here at Maxweb a real sense of achievement to help such a fantastic organisation. After meeting Lee at a networking event and getting to understand some of his frustrations at the support available to charities in the way of software and I.T, we soon realised that we had the capacity to help and make a real difference to charities saving them monthly costs involved in general website maintenance. We are sure that this is just the start of many more charity collaborations to come.”
