...Be transported into an enchanted garden, as the much-loved Grade II* listed Palm House is transformed into an avant-garde feast for the senses with breath-taking performances and the most exquisite menu, inspired by the exotic botanical collection.

With every moment you will be captivated as the event unfolds with illuminations, fire and aerial performances, as the Palm House relives the whimsy and showmanship of the 19th century, with fine wines and a culinary delight inspired by the historic journey of the plants and statues that make up this magical heritage attraction.

The event recognises the venue’s proud history with this dinner, inspired by philanthropist Henry Yates Thompson, who gifted £10,000, enabling the building of this magnificent Palm House in 1896 for the benefit of the people of Liverpool.

Roy Boardman, director of Sefton Park Palm House Preservation Trust, said;

“The Henry Yates Thompson dinner is a celebration of the Palm House’s proud history; and it is also part of the Trust’s commitment to our community, who worked so hard to save this magnificent building from dereliction in the 1990’s.

“All money raised from this spectacular event, will go toward new projects that will provide life-long learning and heritage interpretation for our local community. People often forget that this magnificent venue is also a visitor attraction and we open for all to enjoy this historic Liverpool Botanical Collection free of charge most days of the week.”

This annual event, aims to raise £10,000 on the night, the evening is priced at £75 per person or a table of 10 @£750 will begin at 7.30 and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
