MP Liz McInnes supports local homelessness charity

"We are delighted that Liz has chosen to support Petrus. We really appreciate her support and wish her the best of luck in the race."
Denis Skelton, Coordinator at Petrus

Petrus Community is a registered charity providing residential and day support services for people in housing need throughout the Borough of Rochdale (including Heywood and Middleton), Rossendale and Oldham. Petrus believes people should have access to safe, secure, quality housing.

Petrus exists to support a wide range of people in housing need and develop their skills, independence and choice. All funds raised will go towards the costs of providing Petrus' frontline services for homeless men and women.

Liz McInnes said: “I’ve run the Manchester 10K every year for the last 8 years supporting a range of local and national charities. This year, in recognition of the growing problem of homelessness in our society, I’m supporting Petrus Community, the Rochdale-based charity which helps those with housing needs. They help lots of people in Heywood and Middleton and I hope that whatever I’m able to raise will help them continue to deliver their valuable service.”

Denis Skelton, Coordinator at Petrus said: “We are delighted that Liz has chosen to support Petrus. We really appreciate her support and wish her the best of luck in the race”.
