The Liverpool office at Haines Watts Chartered Accountants are celebrating after the national firm was crowned Accountancy Firm of the Year (Large Clients) at the 2015 FDs Excellence Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
After beating off stiff competition from across the UK, with big names including Grant Thornton, BDO, Baker Tilly and Deloittes – Haines Watts received the prestigious accolade and came a close second to winning Accountancy Firm of the Year (Smaller Clients), during an awards ceremony held at Grosvenor Square, London.
Hosted by Real Business in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and supported by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the annual event recognises the UK's best finance directors and service providers. Unlike other awards that are judged by a panel of experts, nominations are personally cast by national business owners and FDs.
Frank Murphy, Director of Haines Watts Chartered Accountants on Victoria Street, said: “Having been presented with this notable accolade for the fourth year running, it gives us a great sense of pride and achievement, as our efforts in delivering customer excellence are recognised both on a local and national basis.
“As the awards are voted for by business owners and financial directors, and not by an academic panel of experts, it really makes it extra special.”
The firm, which has 60 offices and more than 35,000 clients around the UK, believe that their on-going success is a direct result of their committed team of specialists.
Frank added: “Year on year we maintain our service levels to existing clients and extend our client base in a variety of sectors, and by winning this award once again it evidences our valued client regard.
“It is because of our dedicated team of experts that we continue to offer unrivalled accountancy and taxation services – and we would like to take this time to thank them for helping us to achieve this impressive award.”
