Following the introduction of its new corporate hospitality facilities, The Epstein Theatre has teamed up with organisers of the Mind Your Own Business (MYOB) programme to bring you ‘Finding Finance’ later this month.
The event aims to assist local businesses explore the various ways of accessing funding, and will bring together an experienced panel who can offer advice on some of the traditional options to finance your business, as well as some newer, alternative methods.
From 4pm, a panel of local professionals from across the city including Mitchell Charlesworth, MSB Solicitors, MSIF, NatWest Banking Group and Reparo Finance, together with Texas originated CrowdBoarders, will offer advice and guidance to help SMEs understand what type of finance is best suited to them and how it can be secured.
Rebekah Pichilingi, General Manager at The Epstein Theatre, said: “Having noticed a growing trend in the demand for events spaces with a difference, we introduced a range of corporate hospitality facilities earlier this year. We were delighted when the opportunity arose to join forces with the MYOB team to collectively host an event, which aims to actively help local businesses grow and excel.
“We hope that Finding Finance will showcase our venue in a new dimension and go on to make a lasting impression with everyone who attends.”
Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded businesses, while gaining an in-depth understanding of the financial support available to them, including business loans, grants, accessing savings, together with business angels and crowdfunding.
Lead on the Mind Your Own Business series, Jennie Lewis added: “There are so many different types of funding available and so many ways of sourcing it, so it can sometimes be a complicated process to find what’s best for you individually. With that in mind, we are thrilled to have joined forces with the team at The Epstein Theatre to offer an event that we hope will have a positive and tangible impact on helping businesses move forward.
