Christmas is coming to Plumgarths

Christmas is coming to Plumgarths

Christmas is without doubt a special time of the year, providing the perfect excuse to be with loved ones and perhaps the best part of that is gathering around the table to share a hearty meal or two together.

With that in mind Ginger Bakers and friends are pleased to host a Festive Foodie Day at Plumgarths, Kendal, this December…

If you’re thinking of doing a spot of Christmas shopping, you’re in luck – this is a great place to pick up some gourmet goodies for your loved ones this festive season.

There’ll be lots of lovely local produce; including favourites like delicious mince pies and festive cakes and bakes from Ginger Bakers, freshly roasted coffee; the perfect after dinner treat from Rinaldo’s Coffee, Spiced Apple Sourdough bread from multi-award winning bakers Lovingly Artisan,  as well as all your festive favourites including turkey and game, locally reared beef, lamb and pork, gourmet stuffing and award winning pigs in blankets all available from the Plumgarths Farm Shop, as well as some seriously tempting tipples including toffee vodka, local beers and local gins…

While you are browsing you could you might just be tempted to enjoy a mince pie or two and even a steaming cup of mulled wine… If that wasn’t enough to get you feeling festive, then don your festive jumpers to be in with a chance of winning a special hamper brim full of local goodies (the best jumper on the day wins the loot).

The Plumgarths Festive Foodie Day is the perfect excuse to buy local this festive season and stock up with some tasty treats while you’re at it…

After all, can you think of a better way to get into the Christmas spirit other than nibbling your way through foodie festive treats?

The day runs from 10.00am - 3.00pm on Saturday 07th December.
