Delifonseca Launches Online Ordering System Following Corporate Catering Surge

"Liverpools business scene is thriving and the way that people are working and entertaining has changed, with more of our customers choosing to host business lunches in their workplaces"
Proprietor of Delifonseca Candice Fonseca

Delifonseca has expanded its services to Liverpool’s corporates with the launch of its innovative online ordering system.

With corporate orders up by 30% in the last 12 months, Proprietor Candice Fonseca has commissioned the simple, user friendly ordering tool to meet growing demands from the city’s business clientele, allowing organisations to order weekday business lunches and catering for meetings at the click of a button.

Candice said: “This system has been a long time in the making and allows our local corporate clients to easily order a range of food and drinks for lunch meetings and seminars online at any time and on any device.

“Over the years we’ve built up a good client base and always consider their feedback to improve our services. With online ordering becoming commonplace, it made sense for us to make the investment into this site and following the seal of approval from regular customers, we’ve now launched it to the local business community.”

The custom-built website allows customers to browse a range of food and drink options, tailoring and building their order all whilst seeing final cost. Delivery costs are automatically added and payment can be taken on a pay-as-you-go basis or charged to an existing account for returning and regular clients.

The award-winning eatery has targeted its outside catering arm as it remains an area of growth within the business, currently accounting for 20% of total turnover. Following the introduction of a new production kitchen at Delifonseca Dockside, this is expected to increase to 35%.

Candice added: “Liverpool’s business scene is thriving and the way that people are working and entertaining has changed, with more of our customers choosing to host business lunches in their workplaces rather than venturing out, which can become costly, time consuming and not to mention complicated when it comes to the bill! We’ve covered all bases when it comes to the food itself and we’ve even created entirely vegetarian and vegan platters following huge demand from companies wanting to reduce their carbon footprint by keeping lunches meat and fish free.

“The online ordering service provides a slick, efficient user experience for those wanting our weekday boardroom catering but it also frees up resource for our outside catering team to deal with all the other types of enquiries coming in. We still cater for a wide range of events from conferences, funerals, picnics and weddings and it’s important that we take the time with each client to work out what suits their needs and their budget and then ultimately deliver some delicious food and some great Delifonseca service!"
