Leasowe Castle Transforms into romantic haven for Valentine's Day

Leasowe Castle is preparing for a February full of romance as it unveils its heart-warming Valentine’s Day menu. 

The historic 16th century venue has created a three-course menu with couples in mind, as part of the evening celebrations on Thursday, February 14.

Taking place in The Keep, an intimate events space which often hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions, Leasowe Castle’s selection of delicious dishes will be married up with live music to add to the idyllic fairy-tale setting.

Operations Manager at Leasowe Castle Joseph Williamson said: “Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to spoil a loved one and what better way to treat them than with evening in a historic castle? As one of the most romantic spots in the region, Leasowe Castle boasts lavish interior and stunning coastal views, making for fantastic experience that ensures a unique take on traditional date-night.

“Make your other half feel like a King or Queen with dinner in The Keep, one of the Castle’s most intimate and beautiful rooms which is sure to capture the hearts of couples across the region. Those wanting the full experience can enjoy a drink or two in our in-house Wreckers Bar following their meal and for a truly unforgettable Valentine’s Day, guests can opt to book a room with us and wake up to stunning views of the Wirral Peninsula.”

Menu highlights include starters of Butternut Squash Arancini with Yellow Pepper Purée and Crispy Sage and Baked Goat’s Cheese Wrapped in Filo Pastry whilst for the main event diners can expect the likes of Roasted Breast of Chicken with Braised Vegetables, Rich Tomato & Basil Sauce, Spaghetti Bolognese with Herby Bread Crumb Rigatoni and Spicy Arrabbiata Sauce or indulge in a sharing dish of Beef, Bacon & Cheese Burgers, Salt & Pepper Chicken, Pulled Pork, Salad & Chips.

Sharing desserts include Peanut Butter & Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream, Banana Eton Mess with Toffee Sauce, Deep-fried Cookie Dough with Raspberry Sauce & Baby Basil.

Joseph added: “From couples who are returning guests, or have even tied the knot here, to those who are yet to experience what the castle has to offer, we are very much looking forward to welcoming new and familiar faces and providing them with a Valentine’s Day location like no other.”

Leasowe Castle’s Valentine’s Day menu is priced at £29.95 and is available exclusively on Thursday, February 14.
