The Brink Encourages Nutritional Awareness with over 100 Healthy Juice Blends

"The Brink is a safe, stigma-free space whereby everyone is welcome to socialise, seek support and guidance and discover new ways to live a balanced lifestyle."
General Manager of The Brink Carl Bell

The Brink is encouraging the North West to consider health and wellbeing as part of National Nutrition Month.

In a bid to raise awareness of overall nutrition the award-winning dry bar and café, owned by Action on Addiction, is showcasing its wide variety of fresh presses, detox juices and smoothies.

With over 100 drinks options on the menu, each of the recipes boasts delicious flavours and notable health benefits to help customers feel their best as springtime approaches.

General Manager of The Brink Carl Bell said: “At The Brink we offer a number of services that support general wellbeing for the recovery community and the general public alike, with everything from football, Qigong, meditation and guitar lessons right down to our food and drink offering. Our extensive range of fresh juices are hugely popular with our regular customers but in light of National Nutrition Month, we want to invite people in to try some of our much-loved flavour combinations.

“With incredible nutritional value, our selection of fresh juices are specially devised with a number of benefits in mind, including detoxing and even energy boosting properties to name a few. Our customers also have the option to create their own juice blends using a combination of handpicked and locally sourced ingredients.”

The Brink’s range of fresh presses and smoothies include ‘Instant Energiser’, which combines freshly squeezed orange, ginger and carrot to create a cleansing juice with antiseptic and anti-inflammatory benefits, ‘Green Detox Machine’ made with apple, banana, curly kale, cucumber and lime for plenty of vitamins A & C1 and ‘Natural Boost’, to aid immunity and energy levels with an all-natural ingredients list of pineapple, banana, coconut milk and honey.

Carl added: “Our aim is to support people in achieving a healthier routine by offering an alternative bar and café environment without alcohol. The Brink is a safe, stigma-free space whereby everyone is welcome to socialise, seek support and guidance and discover new ways to live a balanced lifestyle.”

All healthy juices, smoothies and fresh presses at The Brink are priced at £2.95.
