Cheshire law firm SAS Daniels expands Chester office

"Chester is a thriving area for business which has enabled us to build on our commercial and corporate specialisms"
Kaye Whitby, Head of SAS Daniels Chester Office

Cheshire law firm SAS Daniels LLP has relocated its Chester office, following its expansion across Chester and North Wales.

The full-service law firm’s Chester office, headed up by partner and commercial lawyer Kaye Whitby, had previously been based at White Friars before taking control of the larger space at 3 Vicar’s Lane.

The firm serves a wide range of businesses and consumers from its Chester office and its specialisms include corporate and commercial legal advice, dispute resolution, employment law and HR, commercial property, residential property, wills, trusts and probate, and family law.

Kaye Whitby, Head of SAS Daniels’ Chester Office and Head of the Commercial Team said: “We have had a base in Chester since 2008 and have seen excellent growth in the region since then, which has allowed us to expand our office facilities. Chester is a thriving area for business which has enabled us to build on our commercial and corporate specialisms, serving a number of SMEs as well as advising some of the region’s largest and fastest growing companies.”

SAS Daniels, which also has offices in Stockport, Macclesfield and Congleton has just secured multiple rankings for excellence in the two most prestigious legal guides, Legal 500 2018 and Chambers UK 2019.

Its Corporate and Commercial team was ranked in the highest possible tier in the Legal 500 2018, whilst Kaye Whitby was also recognised for her technical ability in handling complex commercial agreements and the ability to advise on competition law and data protection cases.

The firm also featured in Chambers UK 2019, a guide to the industry’s best lawyers, in which its corporate and employment teams excelled. Chester-based Agriculture and Rural affairs specialist James Goddard featured as an associate to watch.

Kaye added: “A key point of difference for us is our personal approach to working with clients which was recognised in the latest legal guides. This is why, even as we grow, we’re remaining in a central Chester city centre location so we can work closely with our clients and fellow professionals from an easily accessible base that facilitates and encourages strong partnerships.”

SAS Daniels which has offices in Chester, Congleton, Macclesfield and Stockport, can now be found at 3 Vicar’s Lane, Chester, CH1 1QX.
