The firm cooked up a storm, providing dishes such as kebabs, samosas and chicken karahi whilst members of staff showed off their cooking and baking skills providing starters and desserts.
Traditionally at Eid, which marks the end of the fasting period of Ramadan, many Muslims increase their donations to charity. Following in this spirit staff raised over £500 for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.
Founders Karen and Oliver Jackson opened the event with the cutting of a specially baked cake.
Speaking at the event, Karen Jackson commented:
“Every year people here at Roberts Jackson surpass themselves with their preparations for the Eid festival. We’re extremely grateful to staff for arranging all this wonderful food and the opportunity to come together and celebrate our diversity and of course importantly Eid.”
