Award-winning North West law firm, Jackson Lees, marked the opening of its new Hoylake office with a drinks reception on Thursday 7 February.

The new office is located in the centre of Hoylake’s thriving community, continuing Jackson Lees’ 130 year presence in the Wirral.

Over 80 guests from local businesses, community groups and Wirral Chamber of Commerce joined the firm to celebrate the opening at the special event.

Jackson Lees is a law firm which prides itself on playing an active role in its community and strives to make a positive difference to people’s lives through the practice of law. The evening was a chance for the Hoylake team to meet and get to know local businesses, residents and groups.

Amongst the guests were representatives from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Hoylake (RNLI). The station provides 24 hour emergency rescue services with crews made-up of local volunteers.

On the night attendees raised £400 in a charity raffle for the RNLI. Commenting on the evening, Andy Dodd, Coxswain at RNLI Hoylake, said: “It was a pleasure to attend the launch of Jackson Lees' new office with other members of the community. We would like -to thank everyone at the firm for organising the raffle in support of Hoylake RNLI and the board for matching the fantastic amount raised. As the RNLI is funded entirely by voluntary donations, we really value the support of the local community and local businesses who help us continue saving lives at sea.”

The launch party was also attended by Wirral Chamber of Commerce CEO, Paula Basnett, who said: “We are delighted that such a prestigious company as Jackson Lees Group continues to grow in the Wirral.  It is a well-established and respected business that has provided important services for Wirral and the Liverpool City region for many years. As one of our key Chamber members we look to work and support. Jackson Lees Group as it continues to grow and adds greater value to Wirral’s economic prosperity.”

Brian Cullen, Chief Executive of the Jackson Lees Group, added: “We were delighted to see so many friendly faces tonight and to meet the community. There is something truly special about Hoylake, it is a place that we are proud to be a part of. There is much debate about the future of the high street in the UK, Hoylake is a shining example of how villages can thrive when the residents, businesses and groups work together.”
