A Manchester divorce and family lawyer has been shortlisted for a prestigious award celebrating the best of the city’s young talent.

 

Emily Barcilon from law firm Clarke Willmott LLP is up for Lawyer of the Year at the upcoming Made in Manchester Awards (MIMAs).

 

Emily, who has been with Clarke Willmott for the past year, specialises in dealing with financial matters on divorce, including high net worth matters involving complex business interests, and matters which involve issues over non-disclosure.

She also has experience dealing with non-compliance and enforcement of financial orders, private children matters, including where there are welfare concerns and domestic violence injunctions.

The Made in Manchester Awards celebrate the best of Manchester’s young business talent, up to the age of 35. The awards champion talent across a variety of sectors including, finance, legal, HR, creative and digital.

 

The 2020 awards will be the eighth MIMAs and will take place on Thursday 6 February at The Principal Hotel.

“For the past year I have been focussed on delivering a great service for our clients, who are often experiencing a highly stressful and emotional time in their lives.
