Is this the best job in Cheshire?

If you fancy bouncing into work on a Monday morning then this is the career for you.

The new Inflata Nation Cheshire theme park is due to open in Runcorn next month (end of April) and the company is now looking for around 35 new staff to help it achieve lift-off.

If that sounds like fun, wait until you hear one of the best perks – you get to test out the amazing inflatable obstacles every day before the public arrive!

That means hurtling down giant slides and leaping into ball pools all in the name of work.

The 20,000 square-ft warehouse currently houses Jump Nation, featuring 140 wall-to-wall trampolines.

But owners Michelle and Matt Ball have decided to remove the tramps and instead install inflatables such as a giant air pillow and the UK’s first dual drop slide.

The transformation will take around two weeks to complete, after which the new workers will take up their positions.

Michelle said: “We want enthusiastic and personable staff that can demonstrate great customer service and an eagerness to work hard.

“Each morning as part of the arena ‘health check’ they will have to bounce around with the arena all to themselves to test it. Not many people get that chance!”

The husband and wife team first revealed plans for the Runcorn centre late last year, following hot on the heels of their Manchester theme park – located close to the Trafford Centre – which was the UK’s first when it opened in October.

The Manchester site welcomed 105,000 bouncers up to the end of February.

The new Cheshire location will offer a host of fresh fun. The groundbreaking giant slide will allow you to race against a friend as you hurtle down the inflatable chute, while a five-person slide means enjoyment for all the family.

Other new attractions include the ‘Inflata Challenge’ where, attached to a bungee chord, you sprint up an inflatable runway before trying to shoot a basketball hoop, plus a redesigned two-lane assault course and new ‘Gladiator Duel’.

Little ones are well catered for too, with an improved play area for under-fours.

Signature obstacles, such as a slide leading to a huge ball pool and inflatable climbing wall, are also included in the new theme park.

Matt added: “This is an exciting new venture for Inflata Nation and we are really looking forward to welcoming a host of customers, new and old, to try out the Cheshire centre.

“After setting up the UK’s first inflatable theme park in Manchester, we are once again pushing the boundaries with a host of attractions that will see the Runcorn site provide a huge amount of enjoyment.

“The new staff will become part of the Inflata Nation family and have great fun working with us.”

To apply for one of the new jobs, email your CV to jobs@inflatanation.com. The closing date for applications is Monday, March 26, and those shortlisted will be invited to attend recruitment days at the Runcorn centre on March 27, 28 and 29.

Full details are available on the Inflata Nation Facebook page.

* The prices for Inflata Nation Manchester are currently £5.95 for Under 4s and £9.95 for anyone else.
