With the football bragging rights firmly located at the other end of the M62 for another year, followers of Liverpool are looking to avoid all conversations about the beautiful game.

The Blackpool Tower Dungeon is offering those fans the opportunity to escape the torture of just missing out on the Premier League title with free access to its attraction throughout May.

After coming within touching distance of winning their first league title in almost 30 years, Liverpool finished just short of clinching the ultimate prize.

Opposition fans from fellow North West clubs have wasted no time taking to social media to rub salt in the wounds of the Reds. The Blackpool Tower Dungeon is offering sanctuary to those in desperate need of some R&R from the football season.

The Blackpool Tower Dungeon offers a perfect escape route to those upset individuals. Taking visitors in to the dark, dank and murky depths of The Blackpool Tower, it’s the ideal spot to avoid the gloating Manchester City supporters and other joyous fans with no access to the internet or mobile phones.

Bosses at the attraction have also taken it upon themselves to declare it a football-free zone with guests who are found talking about the sport at risk of being kicked out.

To take advantage of the offer, simply wear a Liverpool shirt (can be any type) and quote xx at The Blackpool Tower Dungeon admission desk. The offer expires May 31st.

It’s only a small gesture but we hope that even just for an hour, this can help ease the pain of falling just short in the title race.

“I would encourage all fellow Liverpool supporters to join me in getting over what has happened. Who knows, maybe we can come together place a curse of Man City ahead of next season?”
