Jurgens Bierhaus now open in Liverpool.

The Strand Liverpool city centre welcomes a new sports venue.

Jurgens Bierhaus now open in Liverpool.

A new football themed venue called Jurgens Bierhaus opens today in Liverpool at the site of the old Tom Halls Tavern on the Strand in Liverpool.

The venue will see 2 bars created. The main bar area and the Boot Room which seats 120 customers and is to be used for football events, meals, sportsman’s dinners, charity events and so on.

Local in demand artist Paul Curtis was commissioned to create 2 main feature walls. First is a huge Jurgen Klopp portrait which faces customers as they enter the site. The second is a Hillsborough tribute wall. This will be linked to a donation box which will collect funds for the charities associated with the disaster.

The venue has signed shirts and boots form players past and present across all walls and the menu plays homage to some of the greats. Pizzas such as The King Kenny, The Macca and The God which is beer soaked hot dog, American cheese, crispy onions, mustard and ketchup.

The site will see food and drink served from 11am until midnight Monday through to Thursday with a 12.30am bar on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. General Manager – Debbie Fitzpatrick said “We are looking forward to welcoming customers from near and far. With a long list of football themed events, quizzes and sportsmen’s dinners planned we are excited to now be opening in time for the Champions League. Its not just a bar for Liverpool F.C. fans though, its for fans of all teams.”

Liverpool supporters fan card holders get 20% off all drinks and food for the first 3 months and a list of up coming events will go live soon on the website.
