Punch Tarmeys at Cains Brewery host unique live stream event

"Feedback on the night, for Punch Tarmeys and the atmosphere created by the team, was incredible."
Tom Barrie

Punch Tarmey’s at Cains Brewery in Liverpool hosted a unique live stream listening event in partnership with Universal Island Records last week.

Mumford & Sons were releasing a new album and national arena tour on Friday and, in conjunction with National Geographic presented Delta, a film featuring tracks from the new album along with fantastic National Geographic imagery.

Punch Tarmey’s at Cains Brewery were one of only ten sites in the UK hosting the event.

Three hundred guests attended the private, hush-hush exclusive listening event with Punch Tarmey's creative director Tom Barrie enthusing:

"Punch Tarmey’s Liverpool was immensely proud to be selected, as one of only ten venues in the UK and twenty two worldwide, to screen the preview of Mumford’s and Sons film Delta, featuring tracks from their new album, alongside stunning National Geographic images.

"Feedback on the night, for Punch Tarmey’s and the atmosphere created by the team was incredible. It really was a unique event in a characterful and quirky venue in the heart of Liverpool’s famous Cain’s Brewery."

One guest on the night, Josie Davies from Mossley Hill said: "It was an awesome night. I was mesmerised by the whole event. Punch Tarmey's has a huge wow factor as soon as you step in and we didn't mind queuing, not only to witness the brilliant new Mumford & Sons album which i love, but also to experience what is now my favourite haunt in Liverpool."
