Castle Green Hotel in Kendal has been announced as the winner of the Fans Favourite Award sponsored by RBS, voted for by customers who are members of Best Western Rewards loyalty programme. The awards were announced by BBC’s Nigel Barden at the prestigious 2017 Best Western Awards, supported by Taittinger, at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, on Tuesday 24th January.
The Hotel, which was rebranded from Best Western Plus to the BW Premier Collection last year, has won the award for the third consecutive year. This follows five years of refurbishment for the 99-bedroomed property across reception, lounge, bar, bedrooms and the £250 000 re-fit of The Greenhouse restaurant.
Castle Green Hotel in Kendal is an independently owned four-star hotel, located a mile from Kendal town centre and set in 14 acres of landscaped gardens with a conference centre accommodating events for up to 300 people, leisure centre with indoor pool and spa, Alexander’s Pub, lounge bar and the two AA Rosette, Greenhouse Restaurant.
