Manchester-based digital marketing agency, CUE Marketing, is celebrating its most successful year so far after a number of big client wins, new key hires across multiple departments, and placing employee well-being at the top of their priority list.

Since the start of 2018, CUE Marketing has celebrated multiple successes as it adds client after client to its roster. The first of these is Flat Cap Hotels, which owns Cheshire-based hotels The Courthouse, The Vicarage and The Bridge. The CUE team will be designing a new website for each venue and providing ongoing SEO services.

CUE has also signed wholesale American confectionery company, Sweet and Glory, and will handle all areas of their digital marketing including SEO, web improvement work and social media.

This year has also seen several key hires made as CUE Marketing expands its service offering. Founder, Melissa Drummond, set up the business in 2014 and has since hired new staff including Nick Boyle, who was appointed as Managing Director in June after joining at the start of 2018 with more than 10 years’ experience in the industry.

Also joining in 2018 was Rafi Bitchakdjian as the new Head of Social Media, Alexandra Halpin who joins to expand the agency’s Digital PR department, and Natalie Barnes as the new Business Development Manager.

Nick Boyle, Managing Director of CUE Marketing, said: “Since the start of 2018, CUE Marketing has gone from strength to strength and we are on target to end Q4 on a very positive note. From the new clients we have added to our roster to the incredible staff that have joined our team, we are confident that we can continue to deliver some truly fantastic results for all clients old and new. We have huge plans to grow CUE Marketing by investing in existing and new talent, launching new services and continuing to expand our client base.”

CUE has also taken it upon themselves to put their staff members first with a strong range of employee benefits, and by also sending their Managing Director to undergo Mental Health First Aid training.

Nick Boyle recently completed the MHFA course to be able to provide ongoing mental health support to the CUE team which includes being able to spot signs of potential issues, having a detailed understanding of mental health and how a person can be affected, and being able to step in to prevent escalation and provide non-judgemental listening.

“We spend a huge amount of time in the workplace,” said Nick. “I want the team to enjoy their time here and for it to be as stress-free as possible. I hope that by taking this “top-down” approach that I can not only provide support to the team, but also that CUE can lead by example for other companies in Manchester and the rest of the UK.”
