To celebrate and coincide with Valentine’s Day this year, LateRooms has launched the campaign to engage with their consumers and raise brand awareness with user-generated-content. The series of videos have been created around the concept of ‘fake news’, in which a news reporter encourages viewers to share cringeworthy images of PDA (Public Displays of Affection) to fight a ‘PDA epidemic’.
By encouraging viewers to submit photographic ‘evidence’ of PDA with the hashtag #GetARoom, this will build user-generated-content and viral potential. WhiteNoise Media has created five videos for the #GetARoom campaign, with a full length version for YouTube, 60 second version for Facebook, Twitter and other social networks, and a square adaptation for Instagram.
The best PDA photo or video entered with the hashtag #GetARoom will bag themselves two LateRooms vouchers for themselves and the friend involved.
Combining their video production and social media expertise, WhiteNoise Media are experienced in creating social videos for various campaigns and have delivered relevant and engaging videos for the LateRooms #GetARoom campaign, adding to a portfolio of big names.
Calum Macdonald-Ball, PR & Social Media Manager at LateRooms says:
"Valentines Day provided us with a great opportunity to further promote the LateRooms.com brand. It has been a pleasure working with WhiteNoise Media and bringing our GetARoom campaign to life."
Calum Macdonald-Ball, PR Social Media Manager
“Valentine’s Day provided us with a great opportunity to further promote the LateRooms.com brand. We wanted to do this in a way that was true to the brands tone of voice and worked with WhiteNoise Media to create a series of ‘Fake News’ stories that tapped into the nations thoughts around Valentine’s Day. It has been a pleasure working with WhiteNoise Media and bringing our #GetARoom campaign to life.”
Lee Holdsworth, CEO and founder of WhiteNoise Media says:
“We are very excited to be working with award-winning company LateRooms. By working with us, we put their ideas on to paper and built a series of engaging videos for social platforms. The fast growing world of increasing online engagement means companies need to create fast, consumable content that entertains and engages their customers, and this is what we have achieved with LateRooms’.
The competition is now closed, but follow the hashtag #GetARoom and watch the videos here.
