Duchy Homes announces a new regional Managing Director and expansion of its team in the luxury housebuilder’s North West division.
Neil Waddington has taken the helm as Managing Director for the North West office, based in Manchester and building premium homes across Cheshire and surrounding areas. Previously MD at Prospect (GB) Ltd for over nine years and with director experience in land and development positions for Miller Homes and Barratt Homes, Neil has been in the housebuilding industry for 27 years.
Taking over from Ian Honeybill, the founding MD to launch the North West division in 2016, Neil is looking forward to building on Duchy Homes’ success and growing its development portfolio in the region. “I’m thrilled to take the reins at such an exciting time for the company,” says Neil. “Our first North West development in Bunbury is proving testament to our commitment to deliver exceptional, high-quality homes and there is already huge interest in our next launch at Milton Green, to be followed by another new site next year in Winterley.”
Joining Neil’s team in the newly-created role of Engineering Manager is Maurice Bowden. Appointed to provide engineering support at all stages of the development process and to ensure compliance with building regulations and NHBC standards, Maurice has vast experience in the construction industry with a successful career at some of the UK’s biggest housebuilding firms.
Supporting Neil and his growing team, former MD Ian will remain with the company as Land Director to focus on bringing forward new land opportunities that deliver value to landowners, town planners, local communities and home buyers.
Since its foundation in Yorkshire in 2011, Duchy Homes has grown significantly through thoughtful investment and a focus on building only the best luxury homes.
Now with four divisions across the north of England and the Midlands and winner of NHBC awards year-on-year, Duchy Homes is set on significant further expansion as it heads towards its first decade on the housebuilding market.
