A new luxury hotel situated at Mill Farm Sports Village (Wesham, Lancashire), home to rising football team AFC Fylde, has revealed its stunning bespoke interiors designed and furnished by award winning interior design business Lifestyle Interiors.
The 18-bedroom hotel, located within the football stadium itself, offers a mix of luxury suites and delux double rooms. It commissioned Cheshire-based interior design business Lifestyle Interiors to create ‘luxurious and timeless schemes’ for the rooms to offer high-end luxury for its guests to enjoy.
The Hotel, at Mill Farm, is the newest edition to the multi-million-pound sports village. The 31-acre development houses a state-of-the-art 6,000-seater stadium and several 3G football and hockey pitches. There’s also a cutting-edge sports bar and a number of shops, restaurants and amenities on site.
The hotel, which will open later this month, has just completed the fit out of all 18 rooms. Club chairman David Haythornwaite said: “With this hotel we’re aiming at the high-end of the market; we want to compete at a higher level. Our fit out of the hotel is 4/5 stars as a minimum with the complex already holding a five star restaurant. It’s all part of what we’re trying to build for AFC Fylde; high end, high level and something the local community can be proud of.”
The rooms include bespoke furniture, with some made exclusively for Mill Farm, with statement brass and marble accessories as well as luxurious velvet and high thread count fabrics – offering a mix of texture and tactility.
The colour palette of blues, golds and silver took inspiration from the history of the site, with an injection of bold tones that would demonstrate its future ambitions.
Gemma Schofield, Director of Lifestyle Interiors, said: “This has been an exciting project for us to work on, using our experience of creating high-end luxury interiors for both commercial properties and private homes to produce sophisticated interiors that reflect the hotel’s ambition to offer guests an exceptional hospitality experience.
“For the deluxe double-rooms we have introduced a silver and teal colour scheme, with luxury fabrics and many unique finishing touches; even the artwork has been commissioned by our team. The luxury continues with modern matt walnut furniture and items like the occasional side tables and arm chairs accented with brass. For us it’s been about achieving subtle luxury that exudes quality.
“The richer, dark indigo blue and gold/silver colour scheme in the suites were used to reflect their superiority. The larger floor space allowed us to incorporate additional statement features; we used bespoke furniture to ensure the space was used to full effect. The sofas include little accents of brass and plush velvet for ultimate comfort. Marble also features throughout the scheme and we worked with artist Rose Davis, who created her own marble pieces too, which really pulled the design together.”
Gemma added: “The luxury theme continues to the bathrooms, which also have the wow factor. Beautiful tiles add texture and opulence to the space, while the freestanding baths ensure that these hotel rooms are above and beyond the ordinary.
“We believe in the importance of individuality and bespoke touches in any interior scheme; creating rooms that are inspirational and packed with clever, fresh and on-trend ideas but very much centred around the target audience and commercial needs. Working closely with Stephen Yardely and his team at IMD and Associates to design the fitted furniture, layout and lighting, we feel that we’ve achieved this in abundance in the Hotel at Mill Farm.
“Creating our own bespoke soft furnishings and not just sourcing fixtures and fittings from the more typical places is something that helps us bring added value to a project, responding to the need for individual and bespoke looks.”
