Joseph Williams Place enjoys successful launch weekend

"There was a lot of interest in Joseph Williams Place pre-launch and we couldnt have had a more beautiful day to showcase the scheme! "

Developed by Compendium Living, Joseph Williams Place is the latest phase of a large scale regeneration project in South East Liverpool. Known as Lee Valley, the area was formerly part of a group of ex-council estates., and Joseph Williams Place is Compendium Living’s latest contribution to the long-term regeneration of the area, providing buyers with an opportunity to buy a house outright in an up and coming area.

Those who came through the doors over the weekend included first time buyers and families wanting to upsize. Location, the size of the houses and the amenities close by were key factors for those coming to take a look, with a tour of the show home giving them an indication of how they could personalise their home.

One couple said; “We’re looking to upgrade to a bigger house as we have another baby on the way. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the three bedroom home.”

“The area is what appeals to us,” said another interested couple. “We are renting down the road and driven past plenty of times so were keen to come and take a look when the show home opened.”

The scheme is situated on the site of the old Joseph Williams School in Belle Vale, which closed in 1997 and was once attended by the young Sir Paul McCartney. As well as a mix of 110 high quality two, three and four bedroom homes, the development will also include significant landscaped green space, providing improved pedestrian access to the local shops, other amenities and is in close proximity to Gateacre High School and Childwall Valley Academy.

There are 11 different house types available, with three types of two-bedroom homes and four types of  three-bedroom and four-bedroom homes. Currently, two two-bedroom Hazeltons have been released, with prices starting from £126,995.

The new homes feature a great sized kitchen, downstairs WC, spacious living/dining area and a stylish bathroom, with the larger houses including an en-suite bathroom and utility room. All properties benefit from energy efficient boilers and appliances, meaning ongoing energy costs will be cheaper than those associated with an older home. The show home has been decorated using soft, warm colour palettes of rose gold and grey hues with copper highlights to create a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Dave Bullock from Compendium Living said: “There was a lot of interest in Joseph Williams Place pre-launch and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day to showcase the scheme! It was great to see so many people coming through the doors and we’ve got a lot of people lined up to come and look round in the coming weeks.

“The range of homes available is proving to appeal to a real cross-section of buyers, with the two and three-bedroom homes ideal for first time buyers, singles and couples, while the four-bedroom homes will attract growing families. When people come to look round, it’s also an opportunity for our sales team to inform potential purchasers about the various schemes such as Help to Buy.”

The marketing suite is open from Thursday to Monday, 10am – 5pm and can be accessed on Viennese Road via Braehurst Way, L25. For more information call 0151 515 5856.
