Salford Business Launches Benefits Package Designed by Staff

Salford Business Launches Benefits Package Designed by Staff

""

Salford based call answering service alldayPA has launched a unique and attractive benefits and rewards package developed by its own employees.

During a series of focus groups, employees were asked to share their thoughts on what they wanted in the work environment and in benefits. It was revealed that although salary was important, employees preferred cash incentives, bonus schemes, flexible working hours and extra holidays.

The new scheme now has employees receiving above minimum wage, which rises after a year along with £1,200 each year in cash incentives. Those who have worked for more than three years at the company receive extra holidays, named ‘Thank You’ days* and employees can shop bargains with savings at over 350 online and high street retailers. Health cover and contributions towards health specialists such as dentists, GPs, chiropractors, fitness clubs and opticians has also been introduced.

alldayPA has already set new industry standards, encouraging flexible working hours and bonuses based on quality of calls and not call volume - unheard of in the industry.

Reuben Singh, chief executive officer at alldayPA commented “We’re incredibly proud of this new scheme. A healthy, happy and motivated work force is the number one driver of customer satisfaction. If our staff, who answer calls for over 20,000 UK businesses, are happier you can tell in their voice and demeanour. We are already the UK's most trusted telephone answering service, and our next goal is to be industry leaders in motivating staff and ensuring their health and happiness.

“We hope that in turn, staff remain loyal and invest in the success of the business long term. We want to build on the over 90% staff retention rate we already enjoy. With the 400% increase in CV’s we’ve received since the scheme was announced, we can only believe the scheme is being received well by the public at large as well as at head office. If individuals are seeking a flexible, forward thinking and listening company coupled with some of the best training in the country to develop call handling skills for busy businesses, I can with pride say they can do no better than come to work for us.”
