Businesses invited to explore new training

"We pride ourselves for being a College that works in partnership with the local community to boost economy by offering great opportunities to individuals"

Macclesfield College has partnered with European Social Fund (ESF) to develop and deliver bespoke teaching programmes for businesses across the region and is hosting a Breakfast event to help companies make the most of the new opportunities.

The ESF Business Growth Information Breakfast will take place in the College’s Silk Room Restaurant on Thursday 14 September 2017 from 8.30 – 10am.

Maxim Business Training, the College’s business training brand, will be on hand providing information on its new, fully funded training in Management, HR, First Aid, Customer Services, Health and Social Care and others – all aimed at helping companies to achieve their growth aspirations.

The bespoke programmes can be delivered on the College campus or in the workplace, causing minimal disruption to business’ day-to-day operations and ensuring all employees are able to attend. To be eligible, firms need to be based in Cheshire East and employ at least 250 people.

Rachel Kay, Principal and Chief Executive at Macclesfield College, said: “We pride ourselves for being a College that works in partnership with the local community to boost economy by offering great opportunities to individuals whilst providing skilled workforce to the region’s employers.

“We understand that in order to grow in an increasingly competitive market, the key is to invest in developing young talent and upskilling long-serving workforces to ensure every employee has the knowledge and skills to help a company achieve its future business objectives. Through the European Social Fund, we are able to help businesses that wish to upskill their staff but may not have the needed financial resources in-house.”

To book your place at the event, please contact Jessica Scragg at Macclesfield College on jessica.scragg@macclesfield.ac.uk or call 01625 410000 (548).
