The number one UK provider of housing management systems, MIS Active Management Systems (MIS AMS), has welcomed five new team members in as many months at its Northwich office.
The team has seen new additions across its systems implementation, development and technical support departments, due to new business wins and an expansion of its current product portfolio.
Christina Sanderson, 43 from Sandbach, is one of the first recruits and joins from Weaver Vale Housing Trust where she was a systems information analyst, where she gained a wealth of technical expertise. Her main focus at MIS AMS will be implementing the ActiveH system and modules in her role as a systems implementer.
Christina said: “I wanted to join the team at MIS AMS as I’d heard such positive things, not only about the work they do for housing associations, but also the great team spirit that exists in the company. I also knew about the comprehensive training employees must undertake before being granted access to the ActiveH software, something I admired and wanted to further expand my skill-set”.

Also joining is Kelly Locker, 39, from Congleton, who is returning to work after time away to bring up her young family. Kelly is taking a position in the implementation technical support team.
Kelly, said: “I am returning to work after a six-year career break to care for my children, as many mums will know, finding that perfect role is hard to come by, but I feel I have with MIS. My background is in software development, so I wanted to stay within IT but fancied a fresh and exciting challenge.
“The amount of training the company offers is also big tick for me, having had a while away from work, I am pleased to have that extra learning as I start my role here.”
Other new recruits include: Will Beaumont, 22, from Sandbach, who takes up the position of systems implementer and Sam Crate, 23, from Willaston, joining as a junior developer. Furthermore, the company has appointed another graduate intern, Tony Gallagher, 22, from Northwich, who is the third intern to be working at the business underlining its commitment to developing and rewarding young talent.
